DescriptionThis backdoor creates a folder in the Windows temporary directory using the name "___KJLOG."

It uses its component, KJLIB.DLL, to log opened windows and user keystrokes. This malware then gathers and stores all data to text files found in %WINDOWS%\TEMP\___kjlog. The file names of the said log files use a certain format, "%MM_DD_YYYY%.TXT", where M refers to the system month, D to the system Date, and Y for the system year.

(Note: %Windows% is the default Windows folder, usually C:\Windows or C:\WINNT.)

It also uses Outlook Express to send the log files to a remote user.

It runs on Windows 95, 98, ME, NT, 2000 and XP.
