| Explanation | PPPoE requires a dial-out configuration before starting a PPPoE session. In general, the configuration should specify a dialing policy, the PPP authentication, the username, and a password. The following example configures the adaptive security appliance for PPPoE dialout. The my-username and my-password commands are used to authenticate the access concentrator, using PAP if necessary. |
