| Event Information | To resolve this issue, a registry value modification will need to be performed. Note: Consult the Microsoft Web site for information on modifying the Registry before attempting the steps outlined in this TechNote. Using the Registry Editor incorrectly may cause serious problems. To modify the registry, perform these steps: 1. Close the event viewer. 2. Navigate to Start | Run. 3. In the Open: box, type REGEDIT and click OK. 4. Navigate the registry to HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\EventLog\Application. 5. Edit the sub key "VERITAS Object Bus" by renaming it to "VERITAS Enterprise Administrator Service". 6. Close the registry editor, and open the event viewer. |
