| Event Information | Cause : Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) is not allowed to start the Citrix WMI Service at the same time as the MOM service is starting up because the Service Control Manager database is locked. If the Citrix WMI Service fails to start, a rule in the Citrix Management Pack will fail to register its WMI event query and as a result, MOM cant successfully start its configuration group. Due to this, the MOM service shuts itself down. RESOLUTION In the MOM 2005 Administrator Console, navigate to Microsoft Operations Manager (<groupname>)\Management Packs\Rule Groups\Citrix MetaFrame\MetaFrame Server Rules\ Event Rules. For each of the below six rules, right-click the rule, choose properties, and then clear "This rule is enabled." This will disable the rule. Zone elections: subscribe to zone election events Zone elections: check rate of zone elections Zone elections: rate of elections is high Disconnections: subscribe to sessions disconnection events Disconnections: check rate of disconnections Disconnections: rate of session disconnects is high. |
