Event InformationAlthough the status of the job is failed, the restore operation is successful. When SQL 6.5 recognizes that the master database has been successfully recovered, it stops the SQL Server service in preparation for it to be restarted to complete the recovery of the SQL Server. Once the service is manually restarted, the recovery procedure will be completed, and the SQL database will function properly.

The error message "Syslogs does not exist in its own segment in database X with segmap X with logical start page number of X. You may not use DUMP TRAN in this case, use DUMP DATABASE instead" is written to the Backup Exec log file

During the backup of Microsoft SQL Server 7.0 or SQL Server 2000, the Microsoft SQL Server database files ( *.mdf and *.ldf ) are skipped.
