| Event Information | This event record indicates that one of the replication subkeys in the WINS registry subkey could not be created or opened. The WINS replication configuration is stored in the registry in the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\WINS subkey. To check and correct WINS registry settings: 1. Open Administrative Tools, and then open WINS. 2. On the server in question, expand the server information. 3. Right click Registration Partners, and then click Properties. 4.
