DescriptionWINS adjusted the Maximum Records at a time parameter of the ConsistencyCheck key. The value specified, %2, was changed to the minimum value, %1. These are the maximum number of records that will be replicated at any one time for a consistency check.
Event InformationThis event record indicates that the maximum number of records to be verified each period is below the internal minimum value of WINS. WINS has been programmed to verify at least 1000 records when consistency checking is enable. You can prevent this message from appearing by changing the maximum number of records that WINS will verify each period.
To change this value:

1. Open WINS.

2. Select the server, and then right-click it.

3. Click Properties, and then click the Database Verification tab.

4. Increase the value of the Maximum number of records verified each period entry to greater than 1000. For information about the ConsistencyCheck registry subkey that controls database verification, see the Technical Reference to the Windows 2000 Registry (Regentry.chm) on the Windows 2000 Resource Kit CD-ROM. For general information about the registry, see Windows 2000 Registry in Windows 2000 Help.
