DescriptionNLB cluster [%2]: Version mismatch between the driver and control programs. Please make sure that you are running the same version of all NLB components.
Event InformationAccording to Microsoft :
Cause :
This event is logged when NLB cluster version mismatch between the driver and control programs.
Resolution :
Ensure that the version of all NLB components on all hosts is compatible
If a host is not running the same version of all Network Load Balancing (NLB) components as other hosts in the cluster, you should first delete the host that is not running the correct NLB version, remove NLB from the host, reinstall NLB, and then rejoin the cluster.
When you are using NLB Manager, you must be a member of the Administrators group on the host that you are configuring, or you must have been delegated the appropriate authority. If you are configuring a cluster or host by running NLB Manager from a computer that is not part of the cluster, you do not have to be a member of the Administrators group on that computer.
Delete the host from an NLB cluster
To delete the host from an NLB cluster:
1.Click Start, click Administrative Tools, and then click Network Load Balancing Manager. You can also open NLB Manager by typing Nlbmgr at a command prompt.
2.If Network Load Balancing Manager does not list the cluster, connect to the cluster.
3.To remove a single host, right-click the host on which you want to disable NLB, and click Delete Host.
Remove Network Load Balancing from the host
To remove Network Load Balancing from the host by using Server Manager:
1.Click Start, click Administrative Tools, and then click Server Manager.
2.In the Features Summary area of the main window, click Remove Features, and then click Network Load Balancing.
Reinstall Network Load Balancing
To reinstall Network Load Balancing by using Server Manager:
1.Click Start, click Administrative Tools, and then click Server Manager.
2.In the Features Summary area of the main window, click Add Features.
3.In the Add Features Wizard, select the Network Load Balancing check box, and then click Install.
Rejoin the NLB cluster
To rejoin the NLB cluster:
1.Click Start, click Administrative Tools, and then click Network Load Balancing Manager. You can also open NLB Manager by typing Nlbmgr at a command prompt.
2.Right-click the cluster where you want to add the host and choose Add Host To Cluster. If NLB Manager does not list the cluster, connect to the cluster.
3.Type the host's name and click Connect . The network adapters that are available on the host will be listed at the bottom of the dialog box.
4.Click the network adapter that you want to use for Network Load Balancing and then click Next. The IP address configured on this network adapter will be the dedicated IP address for this host.
5.Configure the remaining host parameters as appropriate, and then click Finish.
Verify :
You ensure that you can control the Network Load Balancing (NLB) host by using NLB Manager.
To ensure that the NLB host is controllable:
1.Click Start, click Administrative Tools, and then click Network Load Balancing Manager. You can also open NLB Manager by typing Nlbmgr at a command prompt.
2.Right-click Network Load Balancing Clusters, and then click Connect to Existing.
3.Type the name of one of the cluster hosts, and then click Connect. The NLB clusters that exist on that host will be listed at the bottom of the dialog box.
4.Click the cluster name that you want to manage from NLB Manager, and then click Finish.
5.Test whether you can control the host. For example, you could attempt to stop or start handling cluster traffic.
