| Event Information | According to Microsoft: CAUSE: This issue may occur if one of the following conditions is true: 1. The remote server is unavailable. 2. Multiple Windows Server Cluster virtual servers are running on the same computer. Note: When multiple Windows Server Cluster virtual servers are running on the same computer, a conflict may occur that prevents MOM 2005 from accessing the performance counters for the Windows Server Cluster. When MOM 2005 can access the performance counters again, monitoring of the virtual servers is restored. WORKAROUND: You can safely ignore event 25267 and event 25268. MOM 2005 will retry the operation and then resume its monitoring of the clustered virtual servers when access to the performance counters is restored. |
