Source | MSMQ Cluster Resource DLL Event |
Description | MSMQ service could not be stopped 0x3e5. Error 0x3e5 is ERROR_IO_PENDING |
Event Information | According to Microsoft: CAUSE: The Message Queuing resource DLL waits five seconds for the Message Queuing service to stop and then waits five more seconds for the driver to unload. It then tells the cluster service that it is offline. However, it may not actually be offline because the Message Queuing service and the driver may require more time to stop and unload. For example, a long purge might require a longer time to stop the Message Queuing service and unload the driver. RESOLUTION: A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that this article describes. Apply it only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. |
