DescriptionSOCKS filter: invalid port (%1) configured for listening. Future SOCKS requests will be refused
Event InformationAccording to Microsoft :
CAUSE :
The SOCKS filter generates this event when the port specified for the SOCKS service is not valid (the port number should be between 1 and 65535). The filter will deny all SOCKS clients trying to connect via ISA Server. The default port is 1080. This alert is never generated when using ISA Server Management. It can only be triggered when using COM interfaces to configure the SOCKS filter, or in the rare case of storage corruption.

SOLUTION :
Use ISA Server Management to configure a valid port number for the SOCKS filter. For details about configuring the port number for the SOCKS filter, see the topic "To configure SOCKS filter" in ISA Server Help.
