Event InformationAccording to Microsoft :
Cause :
This event is logged when Hyper-V VMMS failed to create export directory.
Resolution :
Check export and import settings
Check the environment (including the configuration settings of any virtual machines involved in this operation) and retry the operation. If the vmms service has stopped running, restart the vmms service.
The virtual machine configuration information is contained in the vsconfig.dll file. By default the vsconfig.dll file is installed at \\windows\system32.
To restart VMMS:
1.In theHyper-V Manager click the server on which you want to stop the service, then clickAction, then clickStop Service.
2.ClickAction, then clickStart Service.
You can use the restart services PowrShell cmdlet to restart VMMS. On the computer that has the stopped service, open a command prompt as local administrator and type the following:
C:\PS>restart-service vmms
Verify :
Check that the VMMS service is in the running state in the Service Control Manager and that the failed operation now succeeds.
