DescriptionRSM cannot manage library <storage device name>. It encountered an unspecified error. This can be caused by a number of problems including, but not limited to, database corruption, failure in communicating the library, or insufficient system resources.

I went down a got one of those CD, CDROM cleaners with the little brushes mounted on it...ran it through and the box recognized the CDROM device after that and ever since. Not sure how it works on CDRW though...cost was $10.
