This event is logged when task Scheduler failed to subscribe the event trigger for task.

Resolution :

Verify :

Attempt to register a task with an event trigger, and verify that the task is registered and runs correctly.

To register a task with an event trigger:
  1. Click the Star t button and type Task Scheduler in the Start Search box.
  2. Select the Task Scheduler program to start Task Scheduler.
  3. Click Create Task . On the General tab, specify a name for the task. On the Actions tab, specify an action for the task. On the Triggers tab, click New , and then define an event trigger for the task by specifying to begin the task On an event .
  4. Click OK .
  5. Verify that no errors are reported when the task is created by selecting the newly created task and then clicking the History tab. Verify that it does not show any partial registration failures for the task.
  6. Generate the event specified in the event trigger for the task. This can be done either by setting the condition that will log this event, or by using the Eventcreate.exe utility.
  7. Verify that the task runs as expected after the event is generated. Verify that the specified action was run, or click the History tab for the task in Task Scheduler to verify that it was started successfully.
