| Event Information | According to Microsoft : Cause : This event is logged when failed to locate the default hard disk directory. Resolution : Check vhd store Check the directory permissions and ensure accessibility of the .vhd files. By default vhd files are stored at C:\Users\Public\Documents\Hyper-V\Virtual Hard Disks. Verify : Check that the VMMS service is in the running state in the Service Control Manager and that the failed operation now succeeds. |
