DescriptionThe call to the Registry failed in the Open function of the FileReplicaSet Object. The counter data for this object will not be available. The FileReplicaSet object contains the performance counters of the Replica sets whose files are being replicated by the File Replication Service.
Event InformationAccording to Microsoft:
This can occur because of one of the following reasons.
[1] Volume "%3" has been formatted.
[2] The NTFS USN journal on volume "%3" has been deleted.
[3] The NTFS USN journal on volume "%3" has been truncated. Chkdsk can truncate the journal if it finds corrupt entries at the end of the journal.
[4] File Replication Service was not running on this computer for a long time.
[5] File Replication Service could not keep up with the rate of Disk IO activity on "%3".

How re-create the registry keys for the File Replication service:
1. Use net stop NTFRS in command prompt and stop the File Replication service.
2. Restart Registry Editor, and then delete registry keys:
a. Delete all the FileReplicaSet folder and subfolders, located under HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services key.
b. Delete all the FileReplicaConn folder and subfolders, located under HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services key.
3. Restart the File Replication service.
