| Event Information | According to Microsoft : Cause : This behavior occurs because the ASPNET account does not have sufficient permissions for the parent directory or for the child directory of the ASP.NET 1.1 application. Resolution : To resolve this behavior, grant the ASPNET account sufficient permissions for the parent directory and for the child directory of the ASP.NET 1.1 application. To do this, follow these steps: 1. In Microsoft Windows Explorer, locate the parent folder of the ASP.NET 1.1 application. 2. Right-click the folder, and then clickProperties. 3. Click theSecurity tab. 4. In the Group or user names box, click ASP.NET Machine Account. If ASP.NET Machine Account is not in the Group or user names box, follow these step: a. Click Add b.Type Computer_Name\ASPNET, and then click OK. 5. In the Allow column of the Permissions box, click to select the following check boxes: a)The Read check box. b)The Read & Execute check box. c)TheList Folder Contents check box. 6. Click Advanced. 7. Click thePermissions tab. 8. Click to select the Replace permission entries on all child objects with entries shown here that apply to child objects check box, and then click Apply. 9. Click OK. |
