To do this, follow these steps: 1. Click Start, click Run, type regedit, and then click OK. 2. Locate and then click the following registry subkey: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows NT\Rpc\EnableAuthEpResolution 3. On the Edit menu, click Modify. 4. In the Value data box, type the number 1, and then click OK. 5. On the File menu, click Exit to close the Registry Editor window. • Modify the Group Policy and enable RPC Endpoint Mapper Client Authentication. To do this, follow these steps:1. Click Start, click Run, type gpedit.msc, and then click OK. 2. Expand the following nodes: • Computer Configuration • Administrative Templates • System 3.
