| Event Information | According to Microsoft : Cause This event is logged when Windows Installer requires a system restart. Resolution Restart Windows To restart Windows: 1.Click Start, click the arrow to the right of the lock icon, and then click Restart. 2.If you did not anticipate having to restart the computer, clear the Planned check box. 3.In the drop-down list, select the appropriate reason for the restart, and then click OK. Note: You can also restart your computer and document the reason from the command line, by typing shutdown /r. For help with using the shutdown command, type shutdown /? at an elevated command prompt. Verify Log into the computer. |
