| Event Information | According to Microsoft CAUSE: This problem may occur after you install the Microsoft security update MS04-011. Security update MS04-011 contains a regression from an earlier hotfix that is described in the Microsoft Knowledge Base article 827684. After you install MS04-011, the computer tries to mount the Sysvol folder every 10 minutes. If the Windows 2000-based computer is not a domain controller, the mount does not work. The Sysvol folder only exists on domain controllers. RESOLUTION: Hotfix information A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that this article describes. Apply it only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. |
