DescriptionUnable to validate NT user account DOMAIN\USERNAME: Logon Failure: The user has not been granted the requested logon type at this computer
Event InformationAccording to BUSINESS OBJECTS :

RESOLUTION:
There is not a "Use NT Logon" checkbox available on the 'Connect to APS' dialog box.
If not using Windows NT, an NT user id must be typed in prefixed with the login's Domain name and then the NT password must be supplied.
Otherwise, the default user domain will be prefixed to the userid and be validated.
These errors are indicative of incorrect rights having been granted to the Seagate Info NT group.
The advanced rights:

1. "Log on as a batch job"
2. "Act as part of the operating system"
defined in NT's User Manager for Domains | User Rights menu, must be granted to the NT Seagate Info User Group.
The account running the Seagate Info NT services needs to have enough rights to validate the users within the group; specifically, this service account should be a member of the Seagate Info NT group or have extended rights.

For a Global Group, the user account running the services must either be a:
1. Domain Administrator
2.· Domain Account Operator
3.· member of the Seagate Info global group

For a Local Group, the user account running the services must be one of a:
1.· Local Machine Administrator
2.· Local Machine Account Operator
3.· member of the Seagate Info local group.

NOTES:After setting up the rights for the Seagate Info NT group and NT Service account, please stop and re-start the Seagte Info components (Info APS, Info Sentinel and Info Agent). Then, reconnect to the Info APS.
