Event InformationAccording to IBM

Cause:
This error is a side effect of a Java defect. The defect allows a Java process running as a service to receive a CTRL_LOGOFF event from Windows, when the user logs out of Windows. As a result, it will shutdown all ClearQuest Web Java services. At that point you would not be able to connect to CQ Web Java. To prevent this, Sun recommends using the JVM option flag -Xrs. This is specified on startup of a Java process and prevents the Java processes from terminating when a Windows CTRL_LOGOFF event occurs. This is how the ClearQuest Web services are currently configured. Without this, the ClearQuest Web would shut down on Windows log out.
A side effect of using this option flag is that an error message is generated stating "Got LOGOFF event" for each ClearQuest Web Java Service running at the time of the log off or shutdown. The error does not have any effect on ClearQuest Web.
Resolution:
This error is generated by the ClearQuest Web services running on the server machine, but will cause no adverse effects to ClearQuest. This issue is a reported defect in ClearQuest. It is tracked by APAR number IC44293.
