| Attack | It autoloads the Registry: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\ Key: System-Tray It does the following : Change wallpaper Chat File manager FTP on/off Get ICQ Uin Get Info Get time Hide/Show cursor Kill server Open/Close CD-Rom Popup a message Run file Show picture Start on/off View/Kill apps Removal : 1.Remove the System-Tray key located in the registry at: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\. Which can be done with regedit or any other registry editing program. 2. Reboot the computer or close the trojan. 3. Delete the trojan file that was running from the System-Tray key. |
