| Attack | It autoloads the Registry: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run Key: System-Tray It does the following : Chat with server File manager Get ICQ UIN Get screen shot Get server info Get time Logoff, reboot, power off or shutdown Windows Play sound Run program Send message Show picture View/close processes Removal : 1.Remeber the file location in the System-Tray key in the registry located at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run then remove the System-Tray key. Which can be done with regedit or any other registry editing program. 2. Reboot the computer or close the trojan from the System-Tray key. 3. Delete the trojan file from the System-Tray key. |
