| Description | Amanda 2.0 displays an error message that says "error loading paint file". Because of this error message and the icon (which looks like a paint program file), this server is probably distributed with two extensions (example abc.gif .exe). Amanda 2.0 is programmed in Visual Basic and needs runtime files for both the client and server. The server writes to the registry on Windows NT but the server does not run. Thus Windows NT users need only to do step 1 of the manual removal. |

Which can be done with regedit or any other registry editing program. 2. Reboot the computer or close the trojan listed in the registry. 3. Delete the trojan listed in the registry. |
