Message Code | PIX-3-713212 |
Severity | Error |
Description | Could not add route for L2L peer coming in on a dynamic map. address: IP_address, mask: netmask |
Explanation | This message appears when the Cisco ASA failed while attempting to add a route for the private address or networks of the peer. In this case, the peer is either a Client or a L2L peer with an unknown address. Both of these cases use dynamic crypto maps to allow the tunnel. This could indicate duplicate routes. A full routing table or a failure of the Cisco ASA to remove previously used routes. |
User Action | Check the routing table to make sure there is room for additional routes and that obsolete routes are not present. If the table is full or contains obsolete routes, remove the routes and try again. If the problem persists, copy the error message exactly as it appears on the console or in the system log, contact the Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) for further support, and provide the gathered information |
