Event InformationExplanation :
To get the most reliable Exchange 2003 server operation, it might be necessary to properly configure a number of system memory attributes, depending on the physical memory and operating system on this server. These attributes include the:

/3GB flag in the boot.ini file 
/USERVA flag in the boot.ini file (not applicable on Windows 2000 servers) 
SystemPages registry value (under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management) 
HeapDeCommitFreeBlockThreshold registry value (under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager)

The MSExchangeIS 9665 event is issue during each Exchange startup when the above attributes are scanned and matched against their optimal settings.
