Event Information | According to Microsoft: CAUSE : This problem may occur if all the following conditions are true when the Volume Shadow Copy Service requestor in the third-party backup program uses Volume Shadow Copy Service to back up or to restore selected Exchange 2003 storage groups: • You use volume mount points for Exchange 2003 data storage. • The volume that you try to back up has multiple globally unique identifiers (GUIDs) in the mount-manager database. • The volume mount point refers to a GUID that is not the first GUID for the volume in the mount-manager database. RESOLUTION: A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article. |
