| Event Information | According to Microsoft: RESOLUTION : To restore an offline backup, you must allow the database to be overwritten during a restore procedure. Follow these steps to enable this option: 1. Start the Exchange System Manager. 2. Expand Servers, expand Server Name, expand Storage Group, and then click the database that was restored. 3. Right-click the database, and then click Properties. 4. Click the Database tab. 5. Click to select the This database can be overwritten by a restore check box. 6. Click OK. 7. To mount the database, right-click the database, and then click Mount Store. |
