| Event Information | According to Microsoft: CAUSE : This problem can occur if the Microsoft Exchange Information Store (MSExchangeIS) service has quit because the server has run out of disk space. The Sharepoint Portal Server (Msdmserv) service depends on MSExchangeIS to start; if MSExchangeIS is not running, Msdmserv cannot restart. RESOLUTION : To resolve this problem, free up disk space on the drive that has SharePoint Portal Server installed on it. After you free up disk space, stop and restart the MSExchangeIS service. You are then able to start the Msdmserv service successfully. |
