| Event Information | According to Microsoft: Explanation : The network adapter does not function correctly in Windows 2000. If the part number ends in "-05N", check the serial number. If the serial number is between 40B8D3 and 40CB2F hexadecimal, the network adapter must be replaced. User Action : Verify that the DLL for the interface driver is installed in the Windows 2000 System folder. Check the binding of the network adapter using Control Panel\Network and Dial-up Connections. If you cannot enable the binding of the network adapter, reinstall the device driver for the associated network adapter. If the stack continues to fail to bind to the adapter, reinstall Wsock32.dll. |
