| Event Information | According To Microsoft: Explanation: This Error event indicates that OALGen experienced an error when it tried to clean the offline address list system folders. A common cause for this problem is that the hierarchy of the public folder servers that contain your offline address lists is not synchronized. Additionally, there may currently be no replicas of the offline address list system folders. Your Microsoft® Outlook® clients will not be able to download offline address lists until you resolve this problem. Resolving MSExchangeSA event 9335 frequently resolves MSExchangeSA event 9331. User Action: To resolve this error 1. Make sure that all your public folder stores are mounted. 2. Synchronize the hierarchy of the public folder servers by doing the following: 3. In Exchange System Manager, expand Administrative Groups, and then expand the group you want to work with. 4. Expand Folders, right-click the appropriate top-level hierarchy, and then click Synchronize Hierarchy. 5. In the message dialog box, when you are prompted to confirm that you want to start replication, click Yes if you are sure that you want to perform this operation. The replication of the hierarchy starts after you click Yes. The replication may take several hours or longer to finish. 6. If your public folder tree hierarchy and network infrastructure are large, you may want to perform this operation during non-peak hours. When you replicate the public folder hierarchy, you may cause a significant amount of replication traffic. 7. Rebuild the offline address list specified in the event message by doing the following: 8. In System Manager, in the console tree, double-click Recipients, and then click Offline Address Lists. 9. In the details pane, right-click the offline address list you want to rebuild, and then click Rebuild. |
