Event Information | According to Microsoft: Explanation : This event indicates that the Exchange server was unable to contact a global catalog server. This is not critical (which is why it is only a warning event). If there is another global catalog in the site, Exchange will use that global catalog. The global catalog server could be unreachable due to network connectivity issues. The following registry key could be present: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Systems\CurrentControlSet\Services\NTDS\Parameters\Initialize MAPI interface Value: REG_DWORD Data Value: 0 User Action : I. Ensure that the global catalog is up and running and reachable. II. Delete the registry key identified in the Explanation section, if present. |
