| Event Information | "According to Microsoft: Cause: This event is logged when Microsoft Exchange System Attendant service (MAD) is failing to connect to one of the two Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) namespaces, ""root/cimv2"" or ""root/cimv2/applications/exchange"". This issue can occur if the Exchange namespace has become unregistered in Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) on the system. User Action : Ensure that the Windows Management Instrumentation service is able to start properly and that the WMI repository contains the ""root/cimv2/applications/exchange"" namespace.You can also ensure that MACHINENAME$ has been given access to those namespaces. In essence, you will need to re-register the Exchange namespace in WMI. This can be done by running SETUP from the Exchange CD and choosing REINSTALL. If prompted to overwrite any files, choose not to overwrite." |
