Event Information | According to Microsoft : Cause : This event is logged when FTP server could not create a client worker thread for user. Resolution : Stop and start the FTP service Note: To perform this procedure, you must have membership in Administrators , or you must have been delegated the appropriate authority. To stop and start the FTP Service: 1.Open an elevated Command Prompt window. Click Start , point to All Programs , click Accessories , right-click Command Prompt , and then click Run as administrator . 2.At the command prompt, type net stop msftpsvc . 3.At the command prompt, type net start msftpsvc . Verify : To perform this procedure, you must have membership in Administrators , or you must have been delegated the appropriate authority. To verify that the FTP service is running: 1.Open an elevated Command Prompt window. Click Start , point to All Programs , click Accessories , right-click Command Prompt , and then click Run as administrator . 2.Type sc query msftpsvc , and press ENTER. The FTP service is running if the state reported for the service is 4 RUNNING . |
