Description | The Mobile Information Server ISAPI Filter could not bind to the Active Directory Root DSE. |
Event Information | According to Microsoft: CAUSE: This issue can occur if a Microsoft Windows 2000 domain controller is not available for the Mobile Information Server computer to connect to. The RootDSE is the portion of Active Directory (which is present on each domain controller) that provides information about the Active Directory forest. Because the Mobile Information Server computer cannot access this information, the services do not start; this information is necessary for Mobile Information Server to function properly. |
