Description | ADC will not replicate entry <object name> to the Active directory because the target object <object name> should be administered using the Exchange Server 2000 administration snap-in only. ADC will also force a back-replication of the target entry in order to overwrite any modifications made in the Exchange 5.5 directory.<connection agreement name> |
Event Information | According to Microsoft: EXPLANATION: This event is typically seen when diagnostics logging is set to maximum on the Active Directory Connector (ADC) service. This does not indicate an error condition. All that the event is stating, is that the named object will not be replicated to Active Directory because the target object (in Active Directory) needs to be managed using the Exchange System Manager (ESM) only. Even if the object is managed with the 5.5 Admin tool, the ADC will force a back-replication from Active Directory in order to overwrite (undo) any such modifications. USER ACTION: No user action is required. |
