Event Information | According to Microsoft: CAUSE: When the Exchange Conference Manager Service starts, it performs an unnecessary LDAP referral chase operation. If an error occurs in this LDAP referral chase operation, the Conferencing Server cannot look up the conference mailbox in the Active Directory directory service. Therefore, the Exchange Conference Manager Service quits. RESOLUTION: A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem. Only apply it to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix may receive additional testing. You do not have to restart your computer after you apply this hotfix. Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Conferencing Server. |
