Event Information | According to Microsoft: EXPLANATION: This event is usually seen during setup of Exchange 2000 or setup of the Active Directory Connector (ADC) service. It indicates that the Setup program was not able to read configuration information from Active Directory. 1. Setup is expecting to find the old format and fails if it finds otherwise. 2. The addition of the ADC to the schema of the root domain might not have replicated to the child domain. USER ACTION: 1. During Setup, specify the Exchange 5.5 Service account in NT Format (domain\username).<be>2. Wait for the schema to replicate from the parent domain to the child domain. Then try again. 3. Make sure the ADC service account has permissions to read its configuration information from Active Directory. |
