Description | Unable to read the index for the first counter of the Performance Registry key. |
Event Information | Parameters are stored in the registry. The registry key may be invalid, corrupt, or missing. Using regedt32.exe, open the registry and go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\MSExchangeIS\Performance subkey First Counter. Check for unusual data in the value entries. Verify that the permissions settings are correct. Restore the registry from a backup. If no backup exists, run Setup and update the server application. WARNING: Using Registry Editor incorrectly can cause serious problems that may require you to reinstall your operating system. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the incorrect use of Registry Editor can be solved. Use Registry Editor at your own risk. For information about how to edit the registry, view the "Changing Keys and Values" Help topic in Registry Editor (Regedit.exe) or the "Add and Delete Information in the Registry" and "Edit Registry Data" Help topics inRegedt32.exe.
