Description | Invalid network range specified for adapter "%2". Appletalk was not initialized on the adapter. Verify the values for the Network Range limits for the adapter for AppleTalk Routing are valid using the Routing and Remote Access UI. If values are modified, rebind Appletalk protocol on the adapter. |
Event Information | According to Microsoft: Explanation: For a LocalTalk adapter, the low end of the network range must be equal to the high end of the network range. For example, a LocalTalk adapter range would be 1 to 1 or 3 to 3. For adapters that are not LocalTalk, the low end of the range must be less than the high end. For example, an incorrect range for a non-LocalTalk adapter would be 4 to 1. A valid range would be 1 to 4. User Action : Use Network and Dial-up Connections in Control Panel to change the ranges. In the Installed Network Software box, select Services for Macintosh, and then select Configure. In the Advanced Configuration dialog box, change the ranges for the network adapters to satisfy the criteria mentioned. |
