Event Information | CAUSE: This event is logged when an administrator attempts to enable Sender ID filtering on an SMTP virtual server without first configuring a Sender ID filter. To configure a Sender ID filter, perform the following tasks: 1. Choose the Sender ID filtering options you want. 2. Specify the IP address configuration data for Sender ID filtering. 3. Enable Sender ID filtering on your SMTP virtual servers. RESOLUTION: For detailed information about how to configure Sender ID filtering, see "Configure Sender ID Filtering" in the Exchange Server 2003 SP2 Online Help. To learn more about the options in the Sender ID Filtering dialog box, click the Help button in the Sender ID Filtering dialog box. To view the Help file for the Sender ID Filtering dialog box: 1. Start System Manager. On the Start menu, point to Programs, point to Microsoft Exchange, and then click System Manager. 2. Double-click Global Settings. 3. Right-click Message Delivery, and then click Properties. 4. Click the Sender ID Filtering tab. 5. On the Sender ID Filtering tab, click Help. |
