Event Information | According to Microsoft : Cause : This event is logged when task Compatibility module failed to upgrade existing tasks. Resolution : Fix task upgrade failure The task scheduler compatibility module failed to upgrade tasks. Use the error code provided in the upgrade failure event (events 711 through 717) to further identify possible reasons for the failure. Address the possible root causes. Then, stop and start the Task Scheduler service to retry the upgrade of tasks. To start or stop the Task Scheduler service:
Verify the task compatibility module is started by checking for event 700 in the Microsoft-Windows-TaskScheduler/Operational event log. This task indicates the task compatibility module has started. Then verify that Task Scheduler 1.0 tasks are registered and run correctly. To verify that event 700 is in the Event Viewer:
