| Description | Service terminated unexpectedly. The client just migrated Exchange 2000 to 2003 recently. The server keeps receiving this Event ID 7031 "The Microsoft Exchange Information Store service terminated unexpectedly. |
| Event Information | CAUSE : The following corrective action will be taken in %3 milliseconds: %5." It happens randomly. When they receive this Event ID, the Information Store service is stopped and no one can send or receive email. Reboot the exchange server or re-start Information Store service will fix the problem. SOLUTION : using Windows Services Recovery option. So that, whenever the Information Store stops, the server re-start it in one minute automatically. |
