| Description | All Citrix MetaFrame Servers get the following Event ID in the Event Viewer after the server is restarted. The IMA Service is unable to start. The users are unable to connect to published applications. Error: Event ID 7024 (2147483705) |
| Event Information | Cause: The Citrix XML Service has a port conflict with another application or service. This Citrix XML conflict prevents the IMA Service from starting. Resolution: 1. Verify that the XML ports on all of the Citrix MetaFrame Servers are not conflicting with another port in use. For more information, refer to CTX104063 - Explaining and Changing the Citrix XML Service Port andCTX734844 - Error - Citrix XML Service: Port XXXX is Already in Use. Use ctxxmlss to change the Citrix XML Service port number. ctxxmlss [/rnnn] [/u] [/knnn] [/?] Options: • /rnnn - Changes the port number for the Citrix XML Service to nnn. • /u - Unloads Citrix XML Service from memory. • /knnn - Keeps the connection alive for nnn seconds. The default is nine seconds. 2. Check the connection to the data store. |
