Event Information | According to Black Berry Support: Cause : The BlackBerry device user specified an invalid Messaging Application Programming Interface (MAPI) profile during the installation of the BlackBerry User Administration Service. The service cannot establish a connection with Microsoft Exchange. Resolution : Complete one of the resolutions described below. Resolution1: Uninstall and re-install the BlackBerry User Administration Service using a valid MAPI profile Resolution2: Complete the following steps: Warning:The following procedure involves modifying the computer registry. This can cause substantial damage to the Microsoft Windows operating system. Document and back up the registry entries prior to implementing any changes. 1.Open the Registry Editor by clicking Start > Run. Type regedit and click OK. 2.Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Research In Motion\BlackBerry Enterprise Server\Admin. 3.Double-click MAPIProfile. 4.In the Value data field, type the correct profile name (for example, BlackBerryServer), then press ENTER. 5.Close the Registry Editor. |
