DescriptionThe attempt to install printer %1 into an offline operating system image failed with Win32 error code %2. This can occur if the printer driver requires user input or displays a user interface (UI) during installation.
Event Information According to Microsoft :

Cause :

This event is logged when attempt to install printer into an offline operating system image failed with Win32 error code.

Resolution :

Start the offline operating system and reinstall the printer

Start the offline operating system, open Printers in Control Panel and then use the Add Printer Wizard to install the printer interactively.

Verify :

To verify that you resolved the problem:
  1. Open the Printers folder on the affected computer, right-click an open area, and then click Server Properties . Make sure that the expected driver is installed.
  2. In the Printers folder, right-click the printer and then click Properties . On the Advanced tab, confirm that the expected driver is selected.
  3. Print a test page. If the print server logs spooler information events, look for Print Spooler Event 10 after printing, and then examine the document to confirm that it printed correctly.
