| Event Information | According to Microsoft : Cause This event is logged when AActive Directory Certificate Services refused to start because a safe mode startup was detected. Resolution Start Windows in normal mode to enable AD CS Active Directory Certificate Services (AD CS) cannot be installed when the computer has been started with the Safe Mode or Safe Mode with Networking startup options. To resolve this issue: Restart the computer, and select the Start Windows Normally startup option Verify To perform this procedure, you must have membership in local Administrators on the computer hosting the certification authority (CA), or you must have been delegated the appropriate authority. To confirm that the CA service is available:1.On the computer hosting the CA, click Start, type cmd and press ENTER. 2.Type certutil -config CAconfig is the CA configuration string, in the form CAhostname\CAname. |
