| Event Information | Information From Microsoft Article May Help You… If you are using an HBA, check to see if the HBA driver logged any events in the system log. For an HBA to work properly with Microsoft MPIO, the bustype must be set to BusTypeiScsi in the inf in the HBA driver package. This will ensure that the bustype is set to BusTypeiScsi (0x09) in Parameters\BusType REG_DWORD under the services key, so that the Microsoft iSCSI DSM can claim the device. This event is logged when the initiator fails to create the network object for the initiator portal. This can typically happen if the network stack is not ready or has not assigned an IP address to the NIC that is being used when the initiator attempts to create the network object. |
