| Event Information | This information from newsgroups may help you: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Here is the message I get on my FSMO computer running AD integrated DNS and DHCP with Dynamic update turned on: Dynamic registration or deregistration of one or more DNS records failed with the following error: No DNS servers configured for local system. Everything seems to work OK with DNS as far as I can tell. It replicates to all other DNS servers and replication of AD to all other servers also works fine. It is a little puzzling as to why I am getting this error. Then i did Following and now every thing is working fine: In TCP/IP properties, please click Advanced, click DNS, and then check the "register this connection in DNS" check box. and click Apply,and then press OK. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
